An amazing piece of furniture and history. From WW1 this steamer trunk was issued to Sir H.C.Haggerston Bt of the 13th Fusiliers. It comprises of 4 drawers and a pull out hanging rack with 4 original hangers. It is army green with an army green camo lined interior. Considering its age, circa 1914, it is in good condition.  There are historic signs of woodworm, these are old but have been treated as a precaution. Scuffs, tears and marks are present but add to the authenticity of this fantastic piece which would have been used in active duty.
