Join artist Ruth Dagger at Lynxhead Dunbar for this wonderful watercolour workshop. Various dates from 10am-1pm.

"Growing up I regularly visited my local art shop to look at all the incredible colours of paint on offer. I couldn't buy a whole set so I'd buy one colour at a time with my pocket money. I'd paint whole pictures in one watercolour, layering and making full use of the white paper underneath." 

In this workshop we will discuss how to stretch and prepare a piece of watercolour paper. You will have the opportunity to try out different mediums available for various techniques and choose one colour to create your very own one colour watercolour piece of art to take home. 

Suitable for all abilities. This 3 hour workshop includes all materials, demonstrations and expert guidance. It may be beneficial to bring along sketches, photos or ideas for your finished piece although we do have a good range of reference materials for inspiration.
