A beautiful painted French washstand from around 1910-1920. Backed with a bevelled mirror upstand supporting two corner shelves with ornate supports. The main cupboard and top has handpainted floral relief designs and has a delightful turquoise painted interior. The unit sits on long elegant curved legs. The paintwork has crackled over time and has a wonderful natural shabby chic look, a technique that is often recreated but so nice to see here, organically developed.
