A lovely piece of furniture to work on. This 1930's sewing box, or table is, I'm pretty sure an A Morco. The label is usual on the inside lower top but like a lot of vintage furniture it has been lost. The inside fabric trim had become lose and needed removed, re-glued then re-applied. The top was repaired, again, lack of coasters causing water rings and a full clean all round. Tinted oil was applied to unify colour and take out any scuffs and scratches. Any remaining marks give authenticity of age and , for me, character.
