Saturday morning was spent cutting and sizing a salvaged railway sleeper. Made from Jarrah hardwood this was no easy task. Several passes were needed on the saw to rip it down to size and just fraction adjustments on the planer. The effort was worth it as it looks amazing. The timber is now ready to be made into a stand for a cabinet. More on that later!
