A beautiful Antique gilded Prie Dieu Chair circa 1850. The T frame is gilded with a foliate pattern and is signed in pencil on the underside with the gilders signature. The fabric is a patterned tapestry with a velvet border and back. The gilding is missing in some areas and has signs of previous repair and has been photographed for your attention. The upholstery is in very good condition and overall this chair makes quite the statement.
