A stunning ceramic Polar Bear on an iceberg looking into an ice pool. This exceptional piece was designed by Ditmar Urbach in the 1920's/early 1930's and manufactured in Teplitz-Turn Bohemia (later Trnovany) in Czechoslovakia. In perfect condition with no cracks, chips or wear and is stamped faintly with the designers mark underneath along with a number stamp 2304. Highly collectible and rare in this condition. Measuring approx 22.5x21x16.5cm at the widest points.
